The Church at Old Town is the name of the church replant taking place at the location of First Baptist Church Helena in Helena, Alabama. On May 2, 2021, the congregations of Valleydale Church and First Baptist Helena Church voted to undergo this church revitalization project. The Church at Old Town met for the first time on Sunday, June 6, 2021. We are excited about the months and years ahead as we work together to minister to the Helena community.

We like to say that we want to keep everything professionally casual. We want to do things with excellence, but do so in a relaxed way and stay focused on knowing Christ and living for Him. We love to laugh and celebrate.

We are so blessed to be in a season where new families are coming to the church each week. You won’t be alone as you come and discover what God is doing here at the church and what He wants to do in your life.

The Church at Old Town is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.

We put a lot of energy into our programs for kids. On Sundays we have an excellent experience for preschoolers. For K-5, we have an amazing team who leads kids in kids worship and in their own small groups. For middle and high school students, we have small group at 10:30 in the Gym Building.

The Church at Old Town is located at 815 Hwy 52 E, Helena, AL 35080 (on Google Maps, we are listed as 815 Highway 52 W). Our campus consists of several buildings, including the Sanctuary Building and the Gym Building. Parking is available both by the Sanctuary Building and in front of the Gym Building.
